e. Examine the test surfaces for the presence of rust, mottling, or other abnormal surface

stains. The outer 0.32 cm (1/8 in) edge of the panels and 0.32 cm (1/8 in) around the

holes is excluded from the evaluation.

6.4 Three test panels are processed with the oil-water emulsion in accordance with the

procedure outlined in paragraph 6.3 and similarly examined.
