Life Hazard: Prolonged exposure will induce anesthesia. Poisonous and irritating gases
are produced when heated. Suspected carcinogen.
Flammability: Not flammable, but will burn on prolonged exposure to flame or high
temperature.
Handling: Protect containers against physical damage. Keep containers closed and store
in a dark place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Wear safety glasses,
self-contained breathing apparatus, protective clothing and rubber gloves.
Emergency Treatment and Measures:
a. Precaution: Adequate ventilation. Physical examination annually to study liver
and kidney functions. Preclude from exposure individuals with diseases of liver,
kidney and central nervous system.
b. First Aid: If it has been ingested, or there has been great over-exposure, call a
physician.
